North Coast Surveying began back in 1996 in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. We started by serving the survey needs of the northern tier of counties along Wisconsin's Great North Coast of Lake Superior.  In 2001, we moved the business to Rhinelander. We now serve the Northcentral part of the state. We complete most of our work in Oneida, Lincoln, Langlade, Vilas, Forest and Price counties. We also have done projects in Iron, Marathon, Florence, Marinette and Oconto counties. The cities we serve include Rhinelander,

Tomahawk, Eagle River, Minocqua, Crandon, Merrill, Antigo, Phillips, Park Falls and all areas in between.

North Coast Surveying is a family business. It is owned and managed by Charles L. Oleinik, Sr., PLS.

Charles has been surveying since 1989. His resume includes a BS in Geography from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. Also an Associate degree in Land Surveying from Nicolet College in Rhinelander. He worked with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for 25 years gaining much experience in route survey and construction layout and staking.  Since starting North Coast Surveying in 1996 he has gained experience in alll aspects of Land Surveying, including boundary surveying, Land division and developement.

Cheif field Surveyor is Allen P. Oleinik, PLS. Allen has been surveying since 2001. He has an Associate degree in Land Surveying from Nicolet College in Rhinelander. His experience includes 5 years of land surveying and land developement in the Mineapolis - St. Paul area and 12 years with the Wisconsin Department of Transportaion. Allen has been working with North Coast Surveying since 2005. His technology knowledge and management experience is a valuable asset for completion all survey projects.
